The eleven-day blood sample taking exercise of domestic animals concluded on Saturday in Warrap and Abyei areas.
Radio Don Bosco reports that the exercise targeted more than one thousand and two hundred domestic animals.
The team leader Andrea Adup Akoc, Director-General in the State Ministry of Agriculture, says 120 cows, goats and sheep in each location were randomly chosen for the exercise.
The leader says they will concentrate on rift valley fever, foot and mouth diseases during the blood analysis.
The Director-General requests people to bring their animals for vaccination.
He adds that the samples are sent to Juba for analysis and the results will help in immunization.
