Imotong State calls for calm following removal of governor

The Acting Governor of Imotong State is calling for calm following the presidential decree announced over South Sudan Television, removing Nartisio Loluke Manir.
 
According to Radio Emmanuel, shortly after the announcement, clashes erupted at the former governor’s residents which left two people dead and three others wounded.
 
The decree announced Tobiolo Alberio, the former Eastern Equatoria speaker as the new Imotong State Governor.
 
Margret Itto says people should resume work normally.
 
Itto passed her condolence to the bereaved families who lost their dear ones.
 
Itto says the situation is now calm and under control.
