A minister in Jonglei claims his state is under constant attack by cattle raiders allegedly from Boma.
Akeny Dengdit accuses the raiders of stealing cattle and kidnapping children from Jonglei State since December last year, Radio Bakhita reports.
He says the criminals attacked a cattle camp in Duk County last Wednesday.
No casualty was reported, Dengdit says.
The minister urges the national government to intervene to recover children and the 15 thousand heads of cattle.
Dengdit urges Governor of Boma State Ismail Kony to ensure return of stolen cattle to the rightful owners in Jonglei State.
Governor Kony says his government is working on the matter.
