The governor of Yei River State says he is willing to welcome armed opposition groups returning home from the jungles.
 
David Lokonga Moses says the country has suffered enough and so chance should be given for economic growth, Radio Easter reports.
 
He urges opposition fighters to surrender their struggle to pave way for development.
 
Governor Lokonga calls on security agents to form a committee to receive any opposition fighter ready to return home.
 
He was speaking during the celebration of 100 years of Episcopal Church operation in Yei.
 
Radio Easter could not obtain comments from opposition fighters in response to the governor’s gesture of amnesty.
