Amdrafi community gets borehole repairing skills

More than ten persons in Amdrafi area of Heiban County in Nuba Mountains are receiving capacity building training on boreholes’ repair.
 
William Idriss Bashir, one of the trainers says community members should have skills of repairing broken boreholes during emergencies, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
 
He says the trainees will have toolboxes and spare parts for operation.
 
The trainees can consult for assistance when need arises, Idriss advises.
 
The trainer urges communities to maintain boreholes to get clean drinking water.
 
Humima Ali, one of the trainees says she has acquired basic skills for fixing boreholes in case of breakdown.
 
The workshop that started on the twenty-sixth of January is expected tol run until the seventh of February.
