Residents of Juba have raised concerns about traffic lights not functioning, making it hard for children to cross roads to schools.

Drivers also complain that driving at night has become difficult for them, Radio Bakhita reports.

They say most of the lights were working well before, but their solar panels have been stolen.

The drivers are appealing to authorities to quickly address the matter.

Deputy Mayor of Juba, Ater Ayiel Wol, says the City Council is doing its best to resolve the issue.

Residents should report such acts to authorities immediately, he advises.

Lack of traffic lights along roads is affecting driving and pedestrians crossing in Juba City.
