Yei River State Minister of Information says the issue of establishment of the county headquarters has delayed deployment of commissioners into various areas.
Stephen Lado Onesimo tells Bakhita Radio that county commissioners have made consultations with communities and opinion leaders with little success.
He says Yei River State counties have agreed on flags and exercise of powers during the consultations.
Lado announces that the newly appointed commissioner of Kangapo County in Kajo-Keji has started work.
Yei River State Governor, David Lokonga Moses earlier told the media that lack of transport had delayed the deployment of county commissioners to their respective duty stations.
However, the state authority has failed to cite insecurity as an obstacle to operation of local government.
Last year, Kangapo County Commissioner, Lieutenant Colonel Julius Tabuley was knapped by armed opposition in Böri area of Kajo-Keji without any rescue.
