Western Lakes State Ministry of Education has announced the results of the first national Primary Eight Leaving Examination.
Mabor Meen Manyicnga, the State Minister of Education says one thousand nine hundred and thirty four candidates sat for the exam in eleven centres, Radio Good News reports.
He declares that 89 percent of the candidates have passed the exams.
Twenty two pupils missed the exams, he says.
89 female candidates failed, the minister declares.
Minister Meen praises teachers and the entire community for working hard in promoting quality education.
State Director-General, Agolder Mathok describes the academic performance as excellent.
