The Minister of Interior announces that South Sudan has become number Fifty-Eighth member state of the International Civil Defence Organization or ICDO this month.
Minister Michael Chanjiek Gai on Tuesday told journalists it is important for South Sudan to join the organization to benefit through training and other support after meeting necessary requirements.
The requirements include membership fee, says Minister Chanjiek.
He says the ministry is lacking vehicle for fire fighting department.
The minister was briefing journalists in Juba on Tuesday.
