The Government of Western Lakes State and citizens are regretting the death of South Sudan former Chief Justice John Wuol Makec who died in Juba on Monday.
Information Minister Daniel Dut Makuet says the late John Wuol did a lot to the people of South Sudan and Sudan in general, Radio Good News reports.
‘His passing away is a regret to the government and to the people of Western Lakes State because it is sad news’, he adds.
Minster Dut urges entire public to receive the body of late Wuol with honor for the service he has rendered to the people of the new nation.
The spokesperson says the state government and the family are preparing to lay the late to his final rest.
The late John Wuol Makec has served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the Sudan and he was appointed Honorary Professor at the College of Law, University of Juba in 2014.
