Government of Wau State resolved to sell out two government plots to building new parliament.
 
The resolution came after the Acting State Ministers of Physical Infrastructure and that of Finance on Thursday presented to the Assembly memos on the sale of two plots, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
Finance Minister, Akol Majok Rook, says the money would be for constructing a new State Legislative Assembly.
 
Having well constructed parliament is important as the national assembly may use it to conduct its sessions, he adds.
 
MP James Giir says it is important to form a committee to ensure that the right procedures are followed.
 
He expresses the need for the assembly to know the cost of the two plots and how it is going to be used.
 
Speaker, Anyar Anyar says the memos were discussed and referred to specialized committee for study and to be presented to the minister within three days.
 
The plots proposed for sale belong to the Department of Roads and is located north of Suk Abdul Letiff.
