Yei Town Clerk tours dirty business places to ensure cleanliness to attract more customers to buy commodities.
Azariah Khamis Noah says the Council fines one hundred South Sudanese pounds to any traders who violates the order of good hygiene, Radio Easter reports.
He adds that they found four hotels and nine restaurants dirty.
The Town Clerk says in Yei town all business persons are aware to ease garbage collection.
Khamis says the exercise of the sanitation is to prevent outbreak of diseases in communities.
The Clerk mentions that business places should listen to necessary advises of the council.
The exercise will run for two days and continue throughout the year if not respected, he adds.
