Wau State Governor has issued an order banning the use of tinted cars within the area.
Governor Andrea Mayar Acho, while briefing the police administration on Tuesday, warned that no tinted cars are allowed to be used whether by ministers or advisors, Voice of Hope reports.
He says the implementation of the order must begin by him, instructing the traffic police to immediately remove the tint from his car as an example to everybody.
Governor Mayar says it is the responsibility of the traffic police to ensure that the order is fully implemented and that violators must face the law.
The gubernatorial order follows Friday’s council of Minister’s resolution of banning all tinted cars.
