The Secretariat of health in Nuba Mountains hopes for better service in 2017 in order to cover other counties in the region, said Director of Pharmacology and Medicine.
Kanjas Natambe Jaaro said on Thursday that last year it was not easy to reach services to other parts of the region.
The plan for this year will be according to the number of health units and centres in the region, he said.
Natambe said that last year there were shortages of drugs for some diseases including sexual transmitted ones and skin rashes.
The director told citizens that some diseases are caused due to lack of hygiene and environmental contamination.
Natambe encouraged communities to take safety measures and always keep cleanliness to reduce infections.
