United Nation Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS held a workshop on conflict management and peaceful coexistence to strengthen women leaders in Yei.
The workshop is very important for women to analyze the root causes of conflict and their effects in communities, says Anne Schuit, UNMISS Civil Affairs Field Officer in Juba, Radio Easter reports.
The officer says citizens are little bit confident for the improvement of security situation in Yei after talking to different people.
She hopes for lasting peace and security in South Sudan.
UNMISS coordinated with the state authorities and women to conduct the workshop smoothly.
The officer spoke to Radio Easter on Thursday.
