Rumbek citizens are experiencing fuel shortage in the town as seven petrol stations have run out of fuel.

According to Radio Good News, hundreds of vehicles are off road.

Many disappointed boda-boda riders in Rumbek town say the scarcity is hindering private and public activities in the town.

Adam Ibrahim, fuel stations Supervisor says TAAM Petroleum station, is the only one supplying hundreds of motorbikes and cars.

He believes the shortage of fuel might cause price increase in the market if the situation continues for a week.

Ibrahim says it will take time for fuel to reach Rumbek.

Authorities in Rumbek last year condemned the sale of fuel in black market.
