Two Governors of Gok and Western Lakes States on Monday agreed to conduct a peace rally over the disputed territory of Bhargel/Ngap Counties.
The Governor of Gok State Madhang Majok Meen urged the people of the two areas to remain calm as a peaceful resolution will be reached, Radio Good News reports.
Western Lakes State Governor Abraham Makoi Bol also told both communities of Beli and Gok to co-exist peacefully until the issue is resolved amicably.
The two governors outlined areas of immediate focus and how they should be approached.
They agreed to incorporate their work and report of the first joined committee.
They also resolved to visit communities along Makoor, Bar-Gel and Bhargel/Ngap center to address them on the issue.
