The community mobilization which started last month has increased the number of outpatients coming to the hospital daily, says Tonj Civil Hospital Director.
James Mathiang says he has seen positive change that community mobilizers brought to the Hospital, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He discloses that the Hospital authorities recruited community mobilizers and distributed mobile phones to them at the villages to ease communication.
Dr Mathiang applauds an Italian medical organization for supporting the project which will be instrumental in providing health services to the population.
He blames Tonj communities for sticking to their traditional beliefs which make some treatable diseases to be chronic.
Tonj Civil Hospital Director adds that community mobilization will help a lot in facilitating health service delivery.
