Nyepo County Commissioner in Yei River State hopes that the New Year,
2017 will have no bloodshed, but progress.
Julius Lokonga in his Christmas message urged South Sudanese to begin the New Year with clean hearts, Radio Easter Reports.
He said there should be no acts of insecurity, deaths and people have to to forgive one another.
Lokonga expressed government commitment to maintain the security during the festive season in Kajo-Keji.
He said people of Kajo-Keji in Juba, other parts of South Sudan and Uganda have returned to celebrate the festive season in peace.
