Wau Central Prison authorities say they will set an open day for inmates in the New Year.
Major General Caesar Tombe said they identified first of January 2017 to be an open day for prisoners and their relatives to celebrate, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
General Tombe asks all the humanitarian organizations and citizens to join them in the celebration with the prisoners.
This is the first its kind for prison administration to organize such a celebration since General Caesar took over the prison administration in 2014.
