The Commissioner of Mukaya County of Yei River State is urging the armed opposition groups to accept President Salva Kiir’s dialogue for amicable solution to grievances.
Beneya Jojon Clement believes peace will prevail next year, once the opposition accepts the national dialogue, Radio Easter reports.
He says Jesus Christ is a man of peace, love, unity and forgiveness.
So it is time for the warring parties to come together for conversation to bring peace, Commissioner Jojon appeals.
The Commissioner pledges to go to his County next year to start development activities if peace prevails.
He urges Mukaya community to prepare, rebuild the new county and embark on education.
The commissioner was speaking to Radio Easter while delivering his Christmas and the New Year message.
