The Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit believes that South Sudan is the most violent country.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha Atia prays to Jesus Christ to take out the evil deeds the people of this nation are committing, Radio Emmanuel reports.

The Apostolic Administrator says war, tribalism, hate speeches, nepotism, corruption, cattle rustling and revenge killings are among South Sudanese.

Citizens prefer darkness instead of light, Fr Olihas observes.

The Monsignor regrets the ongoing violence in the country.

Fr Oliha tells people to have hope and follow Jesus Christ to come out of darkness.

He says believing in Jesus is the only way to have eternal life.

The Apostolic Administrator was preaching on Christmas Day at our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Torit.
