The International Crisis Group recommends South Sudan government to increase inclusivity in governance, local security dynamics, the economy and communal relations for sustainable peace to prevail.

The Group also recommends the government to seek external support and capacity building for national dialogue and negotiations with armed groups.

The group urges the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, JMEC to continue efforts to increase inclusivity in peace implementation process.

JMEC should support the transitional government in the facilitation of national dialogue, the Crisis Group recommends.

The group suggests that IGAD-Plus should provide financial and political support to the transitional government for effective peace deal implementation conditioned on genuine inclusivity.

The African Union should provide support to national dialogue participants within the consideration of Peace Agreement provisions on transitional justice, accountability, reconciliation and healing.
