Uniformed armed men raided nine hundred and ninety-eight in Liwolo County of Kajo-Keji region, Commission confirms.

Victor Ware says the heavily armed men in new uniforms looted cattle in three separate Payams between December 13 and 16, Radio Easter reports.

He says local authorities gave the suspected raiders to graze their cattle in the area for the last three years.

Commissioner Ware says authorities of Kajo-Keji agreed that the state and the national governments remove the cattle in January to reduce hostilities and avoid continuous fleeing of residents to Uganda.

Nearly two weeks ago, armed cattle keepers raided 540 cows in Nyepo County of Kajo-Keji.
