Poor people in Wau town celebrated Christmas on Sunday at St Mark Centre of St Mary Cathedral Wau.
The poor should be given chance to enjoy their Christmas inside the church, Pasquale Ayan Deputy Governor Wau State regrets during the ceremony, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Ayan adds that there are people in the community who normally deny and do not care for the poor people.
He urges people to refrain from such acts saying poverty is a stage that anyone can pass through.
People of Wau every year; celebrate Christmas of the poor on Sunday before the December 25.
