Trainer of community animal workers says twenty-five trainees graduated on Saturday to vaccinate animals against various diseases.

Santo Majok Mayiik regrets the fact that no female graduated among the workers, Don Bosco Radio reports.

He says women refuse to join men in animal vaccination because it is a hard job.

He urges the graduates to put the skills they acquired into practice.

The trainer observes that animal vaccination is important for human health because livestock and humans share some diseases.

Participant Tito Aluong says many domestic animals in Tonj State are sick but was done to treat them due to lack of medicine.

ACTED organised the workshop.
