The Pope in a peace message asks God to help all people of the world to cultivate nonviolence in their personal thoughts and values.

Pope Francis’ message entitle: ‘Nonviolence: A style of politics for peace’, reflects on tranquility in the globe.

May charity and nonviolence govern how people treat each other as individuals, within the society and world, he prays.

The Pope points out that when victims of violence are able to resist the temptation to retaliate, they become the most credible promoters of nonviolent peacemaking.

May nonviolence become the hallmark of decisions, relationships, actions and political life in all its forms, he pleads.

The Pope adds that violence is not the cure for the broken world and that countering aggression with aggression leads to forced migrations and enormous suffering.

The vast amounts of resources in war are diverted away from the everyday needs of people to military ends in world, says the Holy Father.
