IMC graduates over 50 women on psychological support in Wau

International Medical Corps or IMC graduated fifty-five women and girls on Wednesday after undergoing training on psychosocial support program in Wau.
 
IMC Case Worker Mary Elario Ali says the grandaunts include 40 women trained on netting bed sheet and 15 in weaving table clothes, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
The training is to bring women together and brainstorm with them on issues affecting their lives, she added.
 
Anna John, one of the graduates, says the training has improved her psychosocial trauma and thanks IMC for organizing the training.
 
Zita Taban, on her part urges all women in the state to come out of their trauma and join IMC in fighting trauma.
 
‘I benefited a lot from this programme’, she added.
 
IMC organized the three-month training to improve the psychological well being of women and girls affected by the recent conflict in the state.
