The Secretariat for Animals’ Health in the Nuba Mountains region announced providing drugs in the coming days for treating animals.
General-Director for Animals’ Health, Anwar Abdallah Angelo, said they are trying to improve the situation after recent outbreak of animals’ disease was controlled, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
The director said a law is available to punish people slaughtering sick animals for sale to avoid diseases.
People should not eat meat of sick animals, he advised.
The director said people are not authorized to inject cattle with the drugs unnecessarily except those trained by the health secretariat in the region.
The director warned that misuse of animals’ drugs will cause dangers to the individuals.
