Saints Peter and Paul Parish on Sunday baptized 15 catechumens and confirmed 21 other members from different chapels.
Fr Luka Hassan, Vicar-General of Diocese of El-Obeid in the Nuba Mountains, gave the sacraments, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He told the congregation that the church expands when it produces new members.
Fr Hassan added that the power of the Holy Spirit makes Christians strong in faith.
The Vicar encouraged Christians not to fear and doubt their faith because God is with them.
Fr Hassan preached that people should live a prayerful life in order to be successful in all they do.
