The Catholic Bishop of Yei has urged the government to prepare a suitable environment for Christmas celebration.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe tells masses at Christ the King Cathedral that it is advent season for preparing to celebrate the birth of Saviour Jesus Christ in peace on the twenty-fifth of December, Radio Easter reports.
He calls for unity, love and peaceful co-existence of South Sudanese tribes.
Bishop Lodu says the advent season should be for renewal of hearts and forgiving one another.
He urges authorities to stop unnecessary shooting.
