Students of the Catholic University are wondering how long South Sudanese will carry bitterness in their hearts, killing one another and seeking refuge in other countries.

They call for love, compassion, mercy and peace as the best alternative for peace in the country.

Sister Veronica Daniel calls on those who lost their dear ones during the conflict to forgive the murderers.

Some students urge their fellow youth to be agents of peace.

Others acknowledge that young people are being use as tools for war.

The students talked to CRN during the conclusion of the ‘Mercy discussion on compassion and forgiveness towards a peaceful and cohesive South Sudan on Wednesday, in Juba.
