People have to change their behaviours to reduce the rate of HIV prevalence, Gbudwe State Health Minister tells citizens.
 
Lino Utu advises the people to talk about the killer disease to enlighten people about it, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He reveals that the rate of HIV is higher in Gbudwe State because of limited knowledge about the disease.
 
Yambio Mayor Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa urges the public to support people living with HIV/AIDS.
 
The government of Gbudue State is committed to provide security for its citizens, he said.
 
He advised everyone to fight the disease.
 
Meanwhile Gbudwe State Deputy Governor, Kpiawandu Victor Edward calls on the people living with the virus not to spread it to others.
 
He urges young people to protect themselves from the virus.
 
The officials made these statements on Thursday during the commemoration of World AIDS Day under the theme: ‘Hands up for HIV prevention’.
