Business owners in Wau agree to reduce commodity prices

Butchers and restaurant owners in Wau State have agreed with Trade Union to reduce prices of meat and food.
 
The Trade Union and business owners on Monday discussed challenges facing them, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
Restaurant owners say prices of food will be decreased by half and a kilo of meat to 140 South Sudanese Pounds.
 
Wol Charles, Chairman of Wau Trade Union says cow meat was sold at 180 Pounds while mutton or sheep meat cost 200 Pounds.
 
The Trade Union leader explains that they agreed with restaurant owners to reduce prices to 50 South Sudanese Pounds per meal.
 
Charles says the Wau Municipal authorities will issue orders and that violators shall face the law.
 
The official asks citizens to cooperate with Wau Municipality by reporting those who violate the order.
