Chairperson of the Association for Media Development in South Sudan, AMDISS has travelled to Accra, Ghana to discuss media situation of the country.
Alfred Taban told Bakhita Radio at Juba International Airport this Saturday that he would meet the Secretariat of Afex, a media organization in Ghana.
He says AMDISS and Afex will discuss important matters related to media in South Sudan and Ghana.
Taban had welcomed the re-opening of Eye Radio this Saturday morning after several days of closure.
He urges authorities to take right procedures against the media houses rather than closing them without warning.
South Sudan ranks among top five countries where journalists have been murdered with impunity in 2016 according to the new Global Impunity Index of the Committee to Protect Journalists.
