Sudan People’s Liberation Army or SPLA force says has rescued six aid workers kidnapped by Opposition during the recent fighting in Nhialdhieu.
20 aid workers were reportedly abducted in Nhialdieu and armed opposition confiscated their personal belongings.
SPLA Deputy Spokesperson Santo Domic says the aid workers were abducted by forces loyal to Dr Riek Machar in Northern Liech State last Friday.
Domic criticized statement that their army lost control of Tore and Morobo to the Opposition force.
He says the Opposition force has incurred heavy losses in the recent clash in Northern Liech State.
Opposition soldiers on Wednesday claimed to have captured three areas in southern and northern parts of the country.
Bakhita Radio could not reach opposition for a comment.
