Juba City Council says they agreed with Public Drivers’ Trade Union on new transport cost in the city.

Juba City Council says custom-checkpoint, Konyo Konyo-Gudele II, Konyo Konyo-Munuki, Juba-Gudele II and Jebel Market cost ten pounds.

The other routes will cost five pounds, the authorities add.

The City Council directs the drivers to follow the routes and their prices.

But Isaac Osfaldo, Chairperson of Public Drivers’ Trade, calls on the Council to have specific fuel stations for public transport buses.

Residents in Juba are every day facing a lot of challenges going to work in the morning and returning home in the evening hours.
