An NGO urged media houses to help disseminating HIV and AIDS awareness information to citizens in Yei County.
Lugala Hillary is the site coordinator for Family Health International. She told Easter Radio that the media houses should help the HIV and Aids implementing organizations on awareness campaigns, adding that it was easier for the people to grasp or get the information in a precise way.
Mr. Lugala said the media should work together with other organizations in fighting the virus from spreading from one person to another in communities.
He appealed to the people to stop unkind remarks on people living with the virus.
Family Health International is one of the organizations implementing HIV and AIDS in the county.
