The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei challenges South Sudanese to admit their sins and ask for forgiveness from God.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says the only way to push the country forward is to accept mistakes committed and ask for pardon from one another, Radio Easter reports.
The nation should not be destroyed by hard-hearted people who cannot listen to God’s warning, the Bishop says.
He consoles people that the current suffering is temporary.
Bishop Lodu made the statement during the closure of the Jubilee Year of Mercy at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
