Catholic Church radio station looted in Yambio

Anisa FM Radio was looted by unknown gang in Yambio.
 
Anisa FM is a community radio station of the Catholic Radio Network managed by the Diocese of Tombura-Yambio.
 
Fr Elario Zambakari, Director of Anisa FM reports that three motorcycles, one flat TV screen, DSTV decoder and laptops were among the things looted.
 
He says the issue has been reported to police.
 
Yambio’s Ikpiro area where Anisa FM is located has been insecure for the last three days.
 
Residents have vacated the area after unknown attackers hit a house of a member of the National Security.
 
The radio went off air as there is no security for journalists.
 
Yambio Mayor Daniel Badagbu says government will hunt for the perpetrators and bring them to book.
