South Sudan politicians should be less selfish and think about the interest of their people, says UN Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide.
Adama Dieng in a press while concluding his five-day visit on Friday urges Dr Riek Machar and President Salva Kiir to bring their commanders to account for the atrocities committed in South Sudan.
He supports the idea of the Commission of Enquiry to establish a Hybrid Court to deal with criminals because without justice, there will be no peace.
Dieng says they have been supporting in terms of funding for hybrid court.
He called on the government of South Sudan to take serious accountability crimes perpetrators.
The Advisor warns that people who committed atrocities will face justice even if they are not part of the ICC.
He met with top government officials, UNMISS and civil society groups as well as community members inside the UN camps during his three day visit.
