Jubek State Transitional Assembly Thursday reopened it sessions after three-month of recess.

Peter Kenyi Tombe, Assembly Speaker, cited many challenges including lack of finance, and transport means for leadership of the Augus House, Radio Bakhita reported.

Kenyi urged the state governor and the national government to address the rising insecurity and looming hunger in the state.

Meanwhile Governor Augustino Jadallah Wani recalled resolving that security be handed to Jubek authorities, but that the state has no police.

There is rising insecurity within and around the city where armed men are killing civilians in different residential areas.
