Authorities in Jubek State have ordered stopping public gathering at night in Juba City.
Governor Augustino Jadallah Wani says social gatherings especially at night become targets for armed criminals, Radio Bakhita reports.
He says some of the gatherings are happening in Juba without the notice of the City Council.
The Governor says the state planned to recruit four thousand police to address the insecurity in Juba, but that the process would be hampered by lack of finance.
Over the weekend, a man opened fire on a video hall in Gurei, killing more than 13 soccer fans.
On Sunday, more than ten partygoers were injured in what was described as a grenade attack on a party in Mangaten suburb.
