Hearing impaired persons denied joining University

Lack of interpreters for deaf people at schoola especially at universities makes it difficult for them to understand lectures and deny them higher education learning opportunities.
 
Taban Cosmas Juma, a hearing impaired student, who was deprived from joining the university due to language barrier complains discrimination.
 
He says people with disabilities are sometimes denied the chance to go to school and other rights.
 
Cosmas urges the government to train teachers for hearing impaired people.
 
He also calls on law makers to develop policies to direct the institutions of learning, including the Ministry of Education to help people with disabilities, especially the deaf.
 
Joseph Lino Loro, another person with hearing difficulty, who was delayed to go to school because of sign language, wonders why the rest of the pupils are guided during examinations while the deaf are not.
 
He claims that there is no teacher who can interpret the examinations instructions.
 
Poni Rose, a dropout pupil who cannot hear, criticizes parents for hindering the hearing impaired people from going to school.
 
She urges parents and the society at large to send people with disabilities to school.
