Authorities in Rejaf County of Jubek State have opened court case against suspects arrested for interfering with farming last week.
Commissioner George Wani Jangara tells Radio Bakhita that the police and the attorney general are following up the case.
Commissioner Wani says the security situation in the county is normal.
He urges farmers to remain calm as the government continues to follow up the matter.
Last week, Rajaf County authorities arrested two suspects after armed men entered a farm and started cutting down crops.
