UN refugee agency or UNHCR donated various surgical equipments to Yei State Hospital to improve delivery of health services.
The equipments include surgical table, operating lines and a monitor, Radio Easter reports.
UNHCR Yei Field Associate Officer Mohammed Tahir calls for good care and use of the equipments.
Yei River State Health and Environment Minister, Kogo Manasseh Levi, thanks UN agencies for their continuous support to the people and government of the state.
He says the donation was a step ahead in the state’s efforts to transform the hospital to respond to health complications in the country.
Kogo says most of the health facilities in the state are non-operation due to lack of drugs and personnel resulting from insecurity.
