Police says the investigation on the shooting at Gurei Football hall, which left 12 people dead, is still ongoing.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Colonel Kwashi Jok Dominick Amodos told Journalists in Juba on Monday that they are working to detect the armed man, Radio Bakhita reports.
He urges people to be calm as they investigate the incident to arrest the perpetuator.
Jok denies rumours circulating that the incident was an act of revenge because the people who died are from many tribes.
At least 12 people died and others were injured when armed man opened fire on fans watching football in Gurei suburb in Juba on Sunday.
Recently Jubek state authorities deployed night patrolling team to protect civilians in the city.
