A man in Nuba Mountains’ region of Sudan has stabbed his step-mother with a knife in the upper hand amidst quarrel over missing milk for a baby.
Police at Kumbur Payam says the incident was the second of its kind in the same area, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Malka Ali, the stabbed step-mother has ordered police to punish her step-son for his actions.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening in Farish of Kumbur Payam in Heiban County of the Nuba Mountains.
Police Officer, Sidick Ali says an investigation into the incident is underway.
He cautions people against taking law into their hands.
The Police Officer says citizens should follow the right channel to resolve their problems to avoid falling into trouble.
