International Medical Corps or IMC has distributed sanitary kits to women living at St Mary Cathedral IDPs site in Wau.
Rose Kimathi, Gender Base Violence Program Manager says the distribution is aimed at helping women and school girls in the critical moments they are living in, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
She explains that the distribution will soon cover the entire Wau town.
Mrs Kimathi advises women not to sell the distributed items.
Mary Peter, one of the beneficiaries appreciates IMC for the help.
It is a shame to see that these items are taken to the market, she says.
The distribution program is a partnership between UNFPA and IMC Gender Base Violence program.
