The Administration of Bishop Abangite in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio is tasked to restructure the board of governance of the College.
Fr Tomas Bagbiowia, who heads the taskforce, says they are mandated to restructure the school until the upcoming December, Radio Anisa reported.
Peter Mbia, Chairperson of the College appeals to parents to avoid absenteeism during school meetings for the welfare of the students.
Alfred Riruyo was elected as the incoming Chairperson of Board of Governance of Bishop Abangite College to serve for the next three years.
He promises to work with members, parents and teachers as team for the betterment of the school.
One of the parents expresses excitement for better performance of the students.
Matondo Martin Peter, one of the teachers from the College notes that some of his colleagues left the school and joined other well paid jobs.
He calls on the administration to consider teachers’ payment as the economic situation is deteriorating daily.
Bishop Abangite College was the second best school in 2015/ 2016 South Sudan Certificate exams.
This year the College enrolled 759 students.
